Can You hear?
The sound of the Water
As it falls down from the sky
Can You try?

Can you hear it screaming?
A piercing scream as it's falling
And a "thud"
When its falls on dry mud

Can You hear
The soothing song of the water
As it ebbs and flows
On the warm sand and your toes

Can you hear
The anger of the water
When toxins enter it's streams;
Those anguished screams

The roar of the water
In a tsunami getting bigger
Or a tempest in the night, raging.
Did you listen carefully?

Can you hear
The melody of the water
As it embraces you tightly
When you're in it peacefully

When you sit on it's edge and putter
Those joyful shrieks of the water.
Did you use your years
To listen to the water

Can you hear
The sound of the water
When it's singing it's lullaby?

There's this feeling in my chest
It's so cold and heavy
It's eating me from within
This heartbreak feeling

I told myself I wont cry
But I can't help but tear

My arms feel so cold
They keep on shivering
It's like they're in constant pain

Even when I'm in a sea of people
I felt so lonely

I remembered your smile
When I first met you
It was so warm and bright

However after our first encounter
I thought I lost you
But then amongst Monday's blues

It makes you look so pure

Glowing ever so lightly like a candle

The light enters those crystal windows
Refracting and reflecting
They put the brightest constellations
In the heavens to shame at night

Those jewels make me want to follow
So much wonders they bring...
Little mirrors, I can see my reflection
So clear and bright

I will be the prince

The Pool

This is my longest poem yet. Tell me what you think bout it !!! :) basically this poem is from when im appealing to acjc to the present and then another flashback and back to the present.

The Pool

Fell on the floor when I came in
This really big pool with familiar faces
Sleep too early, and I'm too fat
But I promise myself I'll stay to the end
But Now I'm commiserating with myself
It's just strangers amongst me
As those faces have already left
I can't wait for the day
No I can't wait for the day

Edward shouts and it's no show
Cause when he trains, he goes and goes
Water through his nose on an inside joke
And I'm so afraid, I haven't spoken
And he's so popular and he's so sure
But I know I'm more clever than a boy like him
Training is in bloom
Training is ending soon

It's alright but I feel so alone
But I will hold on to hose secrets in the pool

Maybe I'm a little over my head
But I feel so irritated by the things he say
And he's so 'funny' in his white trunks
The team was together and we all got hurt
I sneaked into his cracked memories
The smell of burning in the searing heat
Boy, he's really having fun
But it's all too crude to last

It's alright
And I try put myself in his shoes
And I will hold on to your secrets in the pool
Pity, or something ignited in my veins
And I pray it'll be a secret in the pool

My first time, hard to explain
Leadership camp on a sunny day
Rush of blood and a little pain
But it's more fun than I thought
But it may be a big mistake

Maybe you were all faster than me
We gave each other up so easily
These silly little wounds will never mend
I feel so far from where I've been
So I go and I will not be back here soon
I'm gone as the sun sets on the pool
I lied, kept my feelings to myself
In my heart was my true friends
Outside the pool

Dark Side Of The Moon

The Moon
In the eye of the beholder
With it's guiding light
AS it moves across the sky

Day by Day
The dark creeps from the side
Devouring the light
Slowly and perhaps painfully

To see the light slowly extinguish
Desperation starts to enter our hearts
Eating us from within
Just like the dark side of the moon

All seemed bleak
But slowly
The light returns back
And the dark side diminishes

Finally all is well for now
And our hearts filled with hope
But the dark side of the moon will return
Who is to say it wont?

Memories Of A Vice

That personality of yours
Outgoing, friendly and kind
Rash and occasionally vulgar
Intrigues me deeply

When I first connected with you
It invoked a warm fuzzy feeling
When then spread around my body
And almost radiated out of me

The link forged was strong
Stronger than the toughest steel
Yet it was malleable and ductile
Or so I thought...

On that breezy day
On a patch of brown and green
The chain snapped
And anger and foolishness took over

I tried to run away from it
Tried to make those hurt feeling fade away
Discard those painful memories
However, at the same time, forgetting you

Still the remnants of the past resurfaced
My amnesia barely lasted for three days
The pieces picked themselves up and relinked
And you have won me back

There were many things you have taught me
And it will always be enough
To help me get through the pain
Because of you, I'm stronger now

Like a dream

The Silver Wings carry me on a journey

The chilling gust scratched my face
As it thronged through the open field
The crimson red sky faded
As a blanket of grey devoured the sun
Little rain drops started to fall from above;
Little mirrors dropping from the heavens

The lamenting shriek of the crow began
And the song of the bluebird deafened
A pale white mist enveloped the grounds
And the flowers shivered upon it's cold icy touch
The grey above had cast a black giant
Consuming all within range

A silent cry broke the quietness in the moist air
Beckoning to the heavens
Filled with nolstalgia and pain
For what seemed like an eternity
The darkness above to stir
Churning out patches of white and vermilion

The warm bright light filtered through the grey
Seven colours surged across the sky
Forming an intangible bridge
The way the sky shined
Could put the brightest star to shame at night
That's the beauty of the outside

From the storm above my head
And onto my seemingly lifeless body
Drenching me with it's cold, wet touch

A sense of loneliness overwhelmed me,
Knowing that I was being ostracized,
Lingering within me
In the depths of my soul

I caught a surreptitious glance
Looking at my way
Fleetingly filled with sympathy
In the cornea of its eyes

The mere gaze of its bloodshot eyes
Was enough to paralyze me
And I could feel fear gripping me
With its cold, icy hands

Even from a distance, within the darkness
I could see it tailing me,
A long, slender, serpentine body, hissing
Feeding on my growing ghastly despair

With the ghost of my past
Glistening in my eyes
Slowly trudging forward, finding the path
Where I belong, Where you wait.....

Staring back in retrospect
I want to discard those memories
Those memories of those lonely days
Those lonely days where suffering was my only friend

I didn't get any repect
All I had were queries
I could only dream of sitting by the bay
With my feet in the warm sand

But now loneliness is back again
I thought it was history
But I was wrong
As i always have been

I have been runnning away in the rain
That has always been my life story
Like a recurring song
At least, that was how I was seen
